Established in 2003, with a Mission to redefine the system of Education, Danigond Group of Institutes is a professionally managed, multidisciplinary and multi faceted oasis of Knowledge. Its premiere educational institutes conduct university accredited courses.
Ayurveda considered one of the oldest systems of medicine in the world, was developed in India during the period 2000- 1000 B.C. Ayurveda is a science of life and it is aimed at the preservation of health and prevention of disease by establishing balance and harmony through nutrition, herbs, meditation and daily regimen. Ayurvedic science provides knowledge to unfold the reality beyond the physical body and achieve harmony of Body, Mind and Spirit. We have started this Institute with a clear vision in mind to impart best medical education and high quality training to our students.

Dr. Mahaveer S. Danigond a philanthropist in Terdal Nagar, have established school and colleges under SDM trust.
Dr. Mahaveer Danigond who is a doctor by profession, was born in village and completed his MBBS in the year 1976 further DC1-I and MS(Master of surgeon) from TATA memorial hospital in Murnbai in the year 1983 and was working as a surgeon, with a big lavish existence and prestigious practice basking in the glory of name, fame and affluence in the grand city, his heart panicked for the poor and needy of his village and he decided to be back to his home town where he could render his service for the betterment and development of the society in terms of health and wellness. Within no time he set up a hospital in a small room serving hundreds of semi urban and rural people of the region, Smt. Pratibha M, Danigond, stood like a rock and a backbone by his side adapting and adjusting to the new way of life that was far more challenging than any challenges that they had faced so far, climbing on the ladder of success Further, Padma Hospital is established by Dr. Mahaveer S.Danigond in the year 1963 to benefit the poor and middle class people of Terdal town and surrounding areas, has been providing good services to the people for the past 39 years, and has earned a place in the hearts of the people. A well-equipped building and people’s services are staffed like Janardhana Seva and Vaidyo Narayana Hari, It has gained a reputation in the healthcare sector

Fortunately, today in this mammoth Dr. Mahaveer S. Danigond is not alone. He is ably supported by Smt. Pratibha M. Danigond (wife) who belongs to reputed family of Patravahi, from Dharwad, she was gold medalist in M.Sc home science from Agricultural University Dharwad and has worked as a Lecturer in Agricultural University Dharwad, working as a Managing Trustee of SDM Trust’s Terdal since 2003, Proprietor of Padma Indane Gas Service at Terdal and even she is actively involved in social activities.
To enhance the powerful driver of development and one of the strongest instrument for reducing poverty and improving health and for creating a peaceful and prosperous society. “If you want one year of prosperity, grow grain. If you want ten years of prosperity grow trees, If you want hundred year of prosperity, grow people” believing in the set phrase Dr. Mahaveer S. Danigond has started the SDM Trust’s Danigond Group of Institutes laid the first corner stone in the year 2004. The institute bravely made impossible to possible in its inception to provide students at par with an international standard and affordable education to the poor and middle class. By engaging themselves in education, health and social services, with a great determination that service to god is service to mankind. Working tirelessly and selflessly for the all-round progress of the society, the educational institutes of this trust are on the path of success within a short span of time. Currently more than 2000 students are taking benefit of the same.

Dr. Pushpadant M. Danigond (Son) as a Managing Director of Danigond Croup Of institutes. He has completed his M.B.B.S from prestigious SDM Medical College, Dharwad. Dr.Pushpadant M. Danigond is presently associated as consultant at Padma Hospital and also a Proprietor of Padma Indane Gas Service, Terdal.

Heartily welcome to all of you . I welcome to all the students aspiring to join our Prestigious Institution SDMT’S AYURVEDIC MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL. Learning is an ongoing process since childhood. Mother is our first teacher in this world, eventually on every phase of our life we learn to explore ourself. It requires complete involvement as well as commitment from both the teacher as well as students.
Experienced faculty members share their knowledge with the students, which help them to learn the theory and practices of Ayurveda. They train students to mould them into skilled Ayurvedic physicians. I take this opportunity to appeal society to take up this unique holistic system ‘Ayurveda’ as a career. The Institution is presently imparting the Graduate Course BAMS with intake capacity of 100 students and Post Graduate Course in 3 disciplines with an intake capacity of 05 Scholars in each subject – Kayachikitsa, Prasuti Tantra & Stree Roga and Shalya Tantra.
